Terms:
New Book Authors Publishing is the holder and exclusive copyright owner of all licensed music. A client/end user who enters into an agreement to use our licensed music is the licensee.
- New Book Authors Publishing retains all copyright and ownership rights to the licensed music in its original, unaltered form. End users may create derivative works based on the licensed music, such as new songs or compositions. Derivative works are defined as any new work that incorporates or derives from the licensed music.
- New Book Authors Publishing does not claim any ownership or copyright interest in derivative works created by the end user as long as the derivative work is substantially altered or significantly modified from the licensed music.
- The license granted is non-exclusive, meaning New Book Authors Publishing may license the music to multiple parties. Any substantially modified changes to the licensed music, resulting in a new composition, are not subject to our copyright or terms.
- The end user’s rights to the derivative work are subject to applicable copyright laws and regulations, including the right to publicly perform the derivative work.
- The license granted is royalty-free.
- End user may choose a non-exclusive license as outlined above.
- A two-year exclusive license, with terms as outlined above. Or an exclusive original song license.
- Exclusive original song license is an original song created for the end user. End user may pay for an exclusive license which does not have an expiration. End user may hold indefinite exclusive license to original song created.
- Nonrefundable.
